Confusion as Buhari names Jonathan’s man as APC senatorial aspirant

There is disarray in the Bayelsa State sections of both the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over President Muhammadu Buhari’s celebratory message to a PDP chieftain in the state, Ambassador Godknows Igali, on his 60th birthday celebration. President Buhari, in an announcement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu on Monday, portrayed Igali as APC senatorial wannabe in the approaching Bayelsa focal by-political race.

Represetative Igali, a previous representative and Federal Permanent Secretary, was a governorship applicant during the most recent year governorship political decision in Bayelsa State on the foundation of PDP. Day by day Trust reports that Igali has a place with the camp of previous President Goodluck Jonathan in Bayelsa State PDP.

Our reporter reports that Igali has not openly announced his enrollment for APC in the state. He is from the equivalent Southern Ijaw neighborhood government with Chief David Lyon, who was APC governorship up-and-comer during the November governorship political race.

Authorities of PDP, when reached, be that as it may, declined remark on whether Igali hosts dumped their gathering or not. Likewise when reached, the Bayelsa State Publicity Secretary of APC, Mr Diofie Buokoribo, said he didn’t have a clue whether Igali hosts joined their gathering. “I am not mindful if Ambassador Igali has joined APC. Better call the President or the secretary of the gathering, he will have a superior record,” he said. A political partner in Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, Elder Zee Debekeme, anyway said individuals from the senatorial region have come to contemplate the competency of an up-and-comer and not party. He portrayed Amb. Igali as a man with essential abundance of experience to speak to the senatorial area. Answering to an instant message sent to him on whether he has dumped PDP, Igali essentially stated, “He’s the president. He thinks increasingly (about) everyone in the nation.”
