Coronavirus: Anthony Joshua delays his June world title protection against Kubrat Pulev?
English Nigerian fighter Anthony Joshua’s World heavyweight title resistance against Kubrat Pulev, planned for June 20, has been deferred due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Double cross heavyweight champion, Joshua, who hasn’t battled in UK for a long time was set to confront Pulev at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, yet now those plans host been racked as the two gatherings work to get another date most likely around August when it is trusted Coronavirus would have halted.
“We’re addressing Tottenham, we’ve delayed the twentieth date,” Joshua’s advertiser Eddie Hearn revealed to Sky Sports on Friday.
“We are working with them for dates in July and early August also, when we trust we’ll be back.
“Ideally we see that battle happen toward the finish of the late spring.”
