The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has said the abuse of Nigerians in China has been settled between the two nations.
Gbajabiamila uncovered this by means of his official Twitter handle on Wednesday.
He said the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria has imparted his finding on the issue and communicated trust that future correspondence will be quick.
“I’m happy the matter of abuse of Nigerians in China has been sifted through between the two nations.
“The Ambassador has imparted his discoveries and we trust that pushing ahead correspondence will be quick and clear and fair treatment will be watched even where there are claims of bad behavior by residents of different nations.
“It is significant that we follow up on this and Nigerians can really continue on ahead in the People’s Republic of China,” Gbajabiamila composed.
The Speaker had requested an official clarification from the Chinese government, over the abuse of Nigerians in Beijing.
