COVID-19 Lockdown: Nigerians Are Being Smuggled In Trucks Out Of Lagos – Presidency Reveals

The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 has uncovered that individuals are being pirated in trucks out of Lagos State regardless of lockdown request to forestall the spread of COVID-19.

Talking at the day by day preparation on Thursday, the national facilitator of the presidential team (PTF) on COVID-19, Sani Aliyu communicated stress that development of such people could build the spread of Coronavirus across Nigeria.

He spoke to Nigerians to constrain their development as this could prompt between state transmission and increment instances of COVID-19 in different states.

Sani said; “I will get a kick out of the chance to underscore on movement limitations and the requirement for individuals to remain at home, particularly in the FCT, Lagos and Ogun.

Then, the National Center for Disease and Control, NCDC on Thursday reported that 20 out of 36 states in Nigeria have affirmed instances of COVID-19.
