The Lagos State Fire Service (LSFS) has deflected another fire flare-up from a 45,000 liters petroleum loaded verbalized vehicle along Lagos State University (LASU), Igando Express Way, Village Bus Stop, Lagos.
The Acting Head of LSFS, Mrs Margaret Adeseye, who unveiled this on Friday in Lagos, said the administration got a crisis call before in the day at 7 a.m.
She said that the firemen from Ojo Fire Station were speedily sent to the scene.
“On landing in the scene, the firemen found fuel spillage on a 45,000 liters completely loaded Mazda tanker, with enlistment number AAA 198 XZ.
“The tanker was passing on Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from Apapa to Agbara. The firemen, notwithstanding, killed the strength of the substance and deflected another potential fire episode,” she said.
Adeseye said that disregarding the lockdown, a great number of fire related crises had been effectively overseen.
Adeseye encouraged Lagos inhabitants to consistently remain safe and report fire episodes on schedule.
