Two speculated cultists have been captured by the police in Ogun for supposedly murdering an individual from the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) distinguished as Kolawole Ajomale.
The suspects, Korede Pariosho and Jide Afolabi were captured on Wednesday by analysts from the Ijebu-Igbo division following objections against them.
It was accumulated that the speculates supposedly shot the perished on the head and stomach on Sunday, April 5, at his living arrangement, where they assaulted him.
The police said the suspects purportedly killed the perished within the sight of his pregnant spouse and afterward sought total isolation.
After getting the report, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) drove his men to the den where the suspects were caught.
The representative of the State Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who affirmed the capture, said that the suspects confessed to have executed the expired to fight back the homicide of one of their individuals slaughtered by OPC in 2017.
“On cross examination, the two speculates admitted murdering the perished yet they professed to have done it in vengeance of the demise of one individual from their religion bunch whom they affirmed was slaughtered by OPC men in 2017. They further admitted to have pledged from that point forward that any individual from OPC seen will be murdered in retaliation of the demise of their late partner.
“The Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson has requested the prompt exchange of the suspects to manslaughter segment of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) for prudent examination and arraignment,” Oyeyemi included
