Man City, United condole Guardiola on mother’s demise from coronavirus

Manchester City and city rivals Manchester United have sent messages of compassion to City supervisor Pep Guardiola whose mother passed on from coronavirus on Monday.

The previous Barcelona and Bayern Munich chief Guardiola has been at Manchester City since 2016, winning two Premier League titles for the Blue side of Manchester.

“Everybody related with the club sends their most genuine compassion at this most troubling time to Pep, his family and every one of their companions,” said Manchester City.

Additionally via web-based networking media, United tweeted to state the club was “disheartened to hear this horrendous news”, including: “We send our ardent sympathies to Pep and his family.”
