Another group of 23 Nigerian returnees, yesterday, showed up Seme fringe in Lagos from Togo. This comes scarcely days after 67 explorers showed up the nation from Ivory Coast. As per NAN, the returnees, from various pieces of the world, arrived in Lome, capital city of Togo, by means of Ethiopian Airlines more than about fourteen days back.
NAN cited an authority of Port Health Services, PHS, in Seme as saying the returnees were initially 24. The authority purportedly said one of them who tried positive for COVID-19 was held by Togolese specialists.
He clarified that Lagos State Ministry of Health had been cautioned and its authorities were headed to empty the staying 23 to the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba for additional assessment. “The staying 23 were segregated for 14 days and lab assessment led by the Togo wellbeing specialists indicated that they are for the most part negative. “The outcomes from Togo are here with us. We have educated authorities regarding Lagos State Ministry of Health and they are en route to Seme fringe to empty the returnees to Yaba for more assessment on COVID-19,” the authority was cited as saying.
